As we close the fourth quarter of 2023, the fitness and weight loss app market in Latin America continues to be a dynamic field. Sensor Tower's latest data provides a window into the performance of the top five applications in this category.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike maintained a steady pace, with weekly revenue peaking at $110K in the last week of December. Downloads showed a dip mid-quarter to around 60K but rebounded to over 80K by the year's end. Weekly active users hit a high of 1.6M in the same period, reflecting a strong finish for the quarter.

BetterMe: Health Coaching experienced fluctuations in revenue, dipping to $38K but rising back to around $44K by December's end. Downloads saw a significant spike to 99K in the last week, and weekly active users also saw a year-end upturn to 282K.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter showed a more consistent revenue stream, although it decreased slightly to $26K. Downloads decreased over the quarter, ending at around 17K, with weekly active users tapering off to 675K.

Zwift: Ride and Run had a relatively stable revenue throughout the quarter, ending at $21K. Downloads remained low but experienced a notable increase to 463 in the final week. Active users remained steady, with a slight decrease to 1.1K.

Kompanion Intermittent Fasting showed an impressive surge in revenue, ending the quarter at nearly $25K. Downloads peaked at 89K in the final week, while active users saw a significant rise to 274K.
